What personal data do we process about you?
When company representatives file a report, the names of the company’s contact persons, their position, address, telephone number, and email address are registered.
In other situations, the information you have chosen to provide is registered. Boardeaser’s policy is not to collect and register sensitive personal data. If, on the other hand, you provide such information yourself, we assume that you want the information to be registered with us.
Why do we process your personal data?
When you sign up for Boardeaser’s services or newsletters via the website, phone or letter, you become a Boardeaser customer. The personal information you provide is registered in our register and is partly used to manage the customer relationship and partly used to provide ordered services and products, invoice, or handle support matters.
The information may also be used for marketing purposes as well as for follow-up and development of Boardeaser’s range of services. When ordering and registering Boardeaser’s services and products, the information we have stored may be disclosed to outsiders, i.e. a person or company outside Boardeaser, to the extent required to carry out the order.
In regards to marketing measures as well as follow-up and development of Boardeaser’s range of services and products, the information may be disclosed to the persons or companies with whom Boardeaser partners with. When processing personal data in other situations, the personal data is not disclosed to outsiders in the event that it is not specifically stated in connection with the data being collected. However, personal data may always be disclosed in the event that it is required by law or regulation.
How long do we store your personal information?
We retain your personal information for as long as is necessary for us to be able to fulfill our commitment, i.e. provide our services, product or course; invoice; handle support matters or complaints, etc.
In order to be able to inform about participation in Boardeaser, we retain your personal information until you wish the information to be deleted, but no longer than two years after the customer relationship has ended. We also need to keep certain information in order to fulfill the requirements imposed on us by the current Accounting Act, which means that such information is stored for 7 years. If you have agreed that your personal data remains stored for a longer period of time, we will keep your personal data until you wish the data to be deleted.
What rights do you have as a visitor?
You have the right to receive information about which personal data about you is processed by Boardeaser. In such a case, you must request this in writing to Boardeaser (for contact information, see below). If you believe that information about you is incorrect or misleading, or wish to be deleted, you can contact Boardeaser in writing and request a change or removal of data.

Boardeaser has taken all reasonable technical security measures required to protect personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, and destruction. For example, all stored and transmitted data is encrypted.
